Back in the late 80's I saw a strand crew working out of a demo derby looking station wagon with the back roof and sides cut off, made for a quick pickup truck. Also seen countless installers and splicers running wild out of their '82 Chevy's converted from old ice cream vans and ambulances. One company in Chicago looked like Lenny Cravitz's road crew driving an A-Team van then they would complain every morning as to why the cops were called on them 2 and 3 times the day before.
