Cox Communications uses a few companies. Medley Communications, Houston-Stafford Electric, and a few others that I can't think of off the top of my head. It's a pretty grim situation here, I won't even touch cable here. They pay less than the comparable rates in other markets. Employees of Cox's subs usually get something like $7.50 to $11.00 for a wallfish.
Cox also has some very whacky timeframes out here as well. They are all 3 hour windows. 8-11, 10-1, 12-3, 2-5, 4-7 and 6-9. I've seen guys putting in excess of 70 hours and still drawing crappy pay.
