Thakns for the info newcatv. And yes it does help. Its shows that even though union leaders are given the authourity by the members to call a strike, they arent always so quick to do it as many people would like for eveyone to believe.
And I must ask you OSG, why do you and a few others blame the union when union workers dont get certain things. In one post you talked about teachers paying for their own supplies, and you made it sound like it was the union to blame. The company would not agree to supply materials. The union gets the blame for the decision of the company??
Then if the union were to call a strike over this topic you would blame the union for the work stoppage!! There are always at least 2 sides of the table in bargaining a contract. But it seems you blame the unions for everything. If the company wont agree to something, its the unions fault. If the union strikes for that same issue, it the unions fault. When are the companies ever to blame.
