C'mon guys. After seeing all the replies for "time to get out of DirecTV", and reading all the bitch, pissing, and moaning, then get the hell out and improve your lives. There is so much more out there for good techs to do. I, yes I, left DirecTV three years ago. I even had a dealership. I saw what was coming when they started their horse****. All of the problems with hsp's. msp's or whoever is ripping you off is starting from the top. Always. I still install for Dish, but I also splice fiber, coax, install cable services,and whatever I can get my hands on and I have prospered because of it. I bitched too, but I did something about it. Leave DTV's sorry ass to the hacks. Time will take care of DTV.
