there needs to be better definitions as the "contractor " is such a grey area.
subcontractors i think is what most IC's are refering to when they speak of independants or individual contractors.
and your right the contractor should be an IC and not just a selfemployed or subcontractor/independant.
see what i mean? there is just too much grey area.
and i have a quetion,
being as HSP's are contractors to DTV, what effects will a union have on the way DTV conducts business and treats all thier contractors including the MSP's as they have NO employees,
only subs.
and if there is to be a change, with HSP's now receiving a MAJOR price reduction from DTV,what do you believe would be a possitive outcome for both the employees and the HSP.
or,
is the MSP program actualy going to step into play as DTV will probably request.
which if this does happen we are all back to contracting and at the mercy of the well known nonpaying MSP game.
