I would like to see a video made for the company executives to see. Seriously, have someone video the ins and outs of our jobs as installers.
In most rural areas, you can't be neat all day due to crawling under houses risking our necks. Polished boots? Forget about it. They may be clean, but polished? C'mon, this isn't the freekin military.
The example tech in this video looks like he has never done a real install in his life. You can look nice and clean when you leave in the morning, but after a couple of crawl spaces and a attic, you will look more like the bad example tech in the video.
Anyone want to make a video for the exec's to see what we go through as techs?
Let's get it going! How about a good company vs. bad company comparison? Show what the CWA Bell tech makes vs. the in house cable/sat tech.
