I have worked in the north.I use to dig the pedestals out of the snow so I could hook up cable.My fingers would hurt something fierce and then they would go numb,My toes seemed to do the same thing.I'm sure a lot of your pole monkeys had to knock the ice off your ladder so you could climb it. Try spiking a pole that is covered in ice.Keep the truck running and the heater on.
