I can't tell you how many thousands of fittings I've replaced that a homeowner paid for an electrician to install. If they didn't fall off, most of the rest looked like they chewed the cable and slipped on the fitting (connector) after daisy chaining the unshielded RG59 or radio shack RG6 they used! But then they most likely received $50 an OL for that. Maybe if cable installers had 4 plus years of training they would be that good.
