Sounds like a porting issue. If u call up the comm desk at the provider they will do a procedure called bumping the modem, which usually will jump start the incoming and out going. But b4 u do that just connect your butt set directly to the modem to see if u can make and receive calls. If u can make and receive calls with your butt set it's not the modem at all it could be the phone or anything else, i.e.(tel wire grounded). Let me know how it works out. GOOD LUCK.
