I guess the main things to do to flatten the response is to clean up the passives and the connectors, im sure you do that, but there are several agcs for that gear, giving you different responses. your passive type means a lot.
some models have some tweek pods under the reverse card of the trunk amps. they are not really designed to be changed in the field however, if you cant get response boards then you gotta do what you gotta do. the equipment is not the best anyway, they are tuned on a bench however flopping around in the splicers truck however long ago then on to power surges and techs banging on them prob has the bench settup screwed anyway. you cant tweek out a problem but you can flatten the response. usually just a touch up helps. you have to be careful as the pods wear out quick, and remember that your response will change when you put the agc and cover back on.
the les have 2 or 3 pods next to the interstage pad. usually just a little touch up will knock the high end of the smile down.
pad the amps right to the input! I am sweeping these amps as we speak and i go 4 and 5 deep keeping under 4.0 at the eols. using holland passives.
without needing to flatten the response.
most of the problems are in the trunk amps. get them good and your good to go until you hit more than 2 les in cascade then ur screwed. pods work well on the les for that. but im not allowed to touch them in this system.
1 things for sure you can set it up today and tomorrow its all different lol. they dont hold very well. good luck, hope i helped in some way.
