My advice if you want to do blue collar type work= electrician, plumber , or mechanic. Installs are a joke where they will have you chasing your tail on piece work working 70-80 hour weeks trying to make a good check. There is such a small market for installers (usually one or two companies per town) so they can treat you like trash knowing there isn't anywhere else for you to go for install work. As Ive always said F installs. Get in a more common trade and you will have a lot more options on places to work. ( not to mention starting your own company someday, theres only room for a few install companies per town and its usually clowns willing to screw over their workers who are in charge)
