Well, good to see someone who also has problem with CableCards. Our problems does not involve pixels but services not coming thru or no services at all -- motorola says there is a software version upgr that is on cards that are NG354xxxx for those of us that can not upgr the cards via a DAC. Some TV work with the old version and some with the new -- toss up. Your problem sounds odd -- Amp overdrive -- we have that problem on our STBs when we've had the analog channels hitting the amps to hot or leaving the amp higher than design spec.
