I work for Comcast and I have to say the last 3 years have been an eye opener to the cable industry. I have learned alot through the so-called worthless meetings and training. When I came to comcast I could not tell you the difference between 64 or 256 QUAM or an ads system. Now I consider my self a very Knowledgable technician that gets phone calls from almost every technician in the field, and a lot of hard to figure out jobs that everyone else has a hard time solving. So Ithink you should not judge a book by looking at the cover and ask questions before jumping to a conclusion.
