Re: DTV/HDTV 8VSB over cable

Thanks for the info, we also switch to UHF and with similar success. What we've found is that many of the older sets do not have the tuners set to work with 8vsb while in the catv mode. Newer sets do. Clear QAM is what most TV manufactures anticipated cable companies would use for HDTV. The industry is going through a learning curve with this technology.
