Re: maximizing tips

I do well with tips, one day it was 2 $100 tips although that would be a stellar week a lot of the time. In my experience the way to get better tips is to just do your job as fast and neat as possible. I will do a little joking and/or talking with the customer, but I make sure not to stop working to do it. Of course most customers don't tip and it's hard to know who will or won't, but the one's that do (and the one's that tip the most) are always the one's that comment on how I seem to really know what I'm doing and think I have a great attitude, bottom line is just do your job the way the people that pay you always hoped you would and I think you'll find that they aren't the only ones that pay you.
