Last time I drove by one of the local cable providers I notice a bunch of big satellite dishes around the building. I guess you could say a cabledawg is, in a way, a satellite installer. They just have to run a lot longer cables to get the programing from the dish to the customer.
There are other forum providers that deal with satellite issues (most are customer based forums), and they also have forums dealing with cable. So, maybe instead of suggesting the satellite installers go elsewhere why not just add a few more discussion groups here specifically for them?
