Ice fishing is a blast. When we go out on Red Lake, we drive 4-8 miles out, but there's also 2-3 feet of good ice.

No one was even in the vehicles when they went down. Went out fishing & came back to find them that way. The ice was not thick or hard enough & they parked so close to each other. They all knew better. Haven't heard of an insurance company yet that covers on the ice, so unless you've got your car wrapped in good 'ole bishop tape....
