BTW, is it really all that crazy not to make major purchases when a contract is going to end. Or is it only union contracts that are thoght of in this way. If you are contractor, and the work you all performing is comming to an end, do you go out and by a new house if you dont know if there going to be work. Your answer would probably be no. So why is it a union negotiated contract is to be looked at different.
