ah come on dconnetinchatt 30 yrs experince and you didnt think that you had to ground to a ground block and that you could ground to the switch,do you ground dtv to their switches as they all have a place to do so or do you do it the right way with ground block I dont claim to know everything but common sence may be knocking on your door any kind of low voltage system needs to be grounded and as far as your guy going to fix his own and not give you the chance to fix yours thats BULL SH!T later and good luck to you p.s. remeber to ground with ground blocks on any system that you do,that way you wont have to go through any of this it doesnt take to much time or money to do so
