i can't help but wonder,
this no-compete clause,does it apply to termination,or contractor withdrwal or does it simply apply to subcontractor self termination?
i believe you should talk to the MSO and see how they feel.although most usualy don't like to see subs jumping about, if they have a prime that is making a riff in what they consider a smooth running operation, they may choose to help.
IF,however the prime in question, is considered to be a permenant fixture in that system,and is in bed with the MSO, you may be biting off you nose to spite your face.
then the only clear way out what be to get a "no conflict of interest" letter from the MSO.which then again, will depend on weather the MSO is deep in this prime and weather or not they view you as a serious asset to thier operation,can they do without your services? this is a hard reality, but it is what may be considered depending on the prime MSO relationship.
