Long ago, I has doing a major trunk spring lining-up and I keep asking the technician to have a look at the quality of the signal after 20 amps by having a look at the TV set. He keep telling me that his FSM was the best tool for that job. After 32 amps deep he finally decided to have a look at the TV set, he then realized that the only signal on the system was noise. He had to go back to the 8 th amplifier, replaced it. We had to redo the complet lining up again.
So DO NOT ALWAYS trust your FSM.
