Re: no-compete clause...


Here is the catch, when you fill out paperwork when you start and then you go and get a badge, that is where the conflict will arise. I really don't belive the MSO's have a problem with good workers going to work for other prime contractors, they just want a letter of release (which is the hard thing to get), stating good work no problem Joe Cable going to work for the other contractor. The reason this was started is to prevent Prime's from grabing all the good workers from each other or putting another prime out of work because all the Sub's are stolen from under you. I also know of some MSO's hiring your sub's and offering them in-house jobs and saying to bad we can do as we like regardless. Just depends on how things are handeled.
