Re: HSP's Taking To Much

Unions are usually started when worker feel they are getting un-just treatment. This is one reason why workers in this industry probably wont ever do it. The workers in this industry seem to take pride in recieving un-just treatment. We take pride that even though we get treated like this we are able to survive. Workers who decide to unionize usually want more than just to survive. If guys start getting wage increases instead of decreases, wheres the pride in that. Not to mention the fact how people feel if you stand up and fight for a fair share for you and your family, and loose. It would have been for nothing. So why do it, we might loose.

HSPs and the others have the perfect workforce. They have a workforce that just wants to be able to say they are not unemployed or on welfare. And these companies only want to provide jobs a little better than welfare. Sad thing is that if you were recieveing unemployment about 3years ago you recieved $888 every 2 weeks (max). Now the max is a little over $900. Imagine that, unemployed people getting cost of living increases, but workers in a multi-billion dollar industry recieve decreases. WOW...

Chances are we will continue to watch this business grow and our share get smaller. We will watch the cost of housing, cars, education, tools, supplies, and insurance rise while our income goes down. We will call others who stand up and fight for their fair share lazy. Kind of how people in 3rd world coutries call our kids lazy because they are not out working at the age of 7. Them, like us are used to getting this treatment and would have it no toher way. So let those stupid lazy bastards in the other industry fight for their fair share, let them fight a battle even though its not guaranteed they will win. We will sit back and enjoy the pride of standing up for ourselves by ourselves and continue to recieve what we have been getting since the the start... a smaller piece of a bigger pie...
