Re: 20db loss at splitter?????

Check the center conductor from the VCR/TV end for AC voltage, a lot of these pieces of equipment put out voltage that will magnetize the ferrous components of the splitter causing a signal loss. I've run across TV/DVD combo's putting out as much as 80 VAC.
