you must not have to use a suprdish, dual room receiver, run two lines from switch to receiver than diplex out to the other tv, sometimes is more cable but defintly more small parts like diplexers either way to each there own i have done both and also was a retail for dishnetwork and their inferior equipment cost me lots of time and money so good luck to all and be safe enjoy the time with the families durring the holidays just because he does dish or dtv we are all suffering at the hands of the big guys
