I work for Prince in Jersey. It does have it's benefits to work as an employee. You don't get paid as much per job, but you also do not need to carry your own insurance,or pay for truck maintenance. We pay for our own gas and get reimbursed a little over $1.00 per job. From what I hear, each office is run quite differantly, some better then others. I would try talking to the manager and supervisor their to see if they know what they are doing. our supervisior, who is supposed to help us when we need help, know nothing about cable, never ran cable, never installed a box, never climbed a ladder....So, she doesn';t help much. Our manager can help, but he was only an installer for about a year, so alot of the techs know more then he does.
