ACI is currently seeking an Installation Supervisor in our Long Island NY area operation. This position will report directly to the Area Manager, and will be responsible for the following tasks; - Oversee daily routing of area installers - Directly supervise 10-16 installers - Interface with our customers, as well as system managers, supervisors, and QC people - Assure installation quality, daily - Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees as needed - Assure all tools and equipment are properly issued and accounted for - Assist in morning disbursement of work orders, parts and materials - Complete various reports, tracking, and inspections - All other duties as assigned Applicants MUST have at least 3 years of installation experience in this industry, and have a solid work history. Must be able to lift 80 pounds, work long hours-including weekends, and be highly organized. Must also be computer literate (EXCEL, WORD, E-MAIL), and have strong written amd verbal communications ability. Prior supervisory experience is NOT required, but is desirable.
fast-growing telecommunications company that has several immediate openings for Full-Time Residential Cable TV/High Speed Internet/Telephony installers in the Long Island (Suffolk County) area.
The position(s) are responsible for new cable TV installations, additional outlet installations, upgrades / downgrades to services, installing converter boxes, etc. Also installs and troubleshoots HSI (High Speed Internet) service.
Qualified candidates MUST have:
Clean Driving Record
Ability to pass Criminal background check and Drug Test
Strong mechanical ability/aptitude
Willingness to work out-of doors all year around
Willingness to work at heights up to 30 Ft. (Ladders and roof-tops)
Ability to carry 80 pound ladders
Ability to work in small spaces like attics and crawl spaces
Willingness to work long days and weekend day(s)
High School Diploma or equivalent
