Re: cable vs sat

If all you are making is 100 a day, then yes there are better options out there. However, the satellite market does fluctuate. A current trend in the satellite field is to install phone lines FREE on each reciever. I suggest to stay away from these companies.

The company I sub for pays
60 for the 1st rec (80 if DVR),
20 for the 2nd,
30 for any after that,
30 to install the 4x8 multiswitch,
35 service, and 35 for trip charges.
We get to charge for custom work I usually charge $50-$75 for a wallfish, and $35-$50 for a phoneline. I also do Home Theatre/ Plasma installs on the side.
They supply all materials a I had to relocate to get in with this company, but it has been worth it thus far. This is definately not the usuall company, trip charges and multiswitch compensation are unhead of these days, so I will try to stay here as long as possible.

Perhaps all you need do is find another cable co. out there to work for. Even though the place I work is great and all, they do have slow times and I have even thought about switching to cable. Good luck to ya!
