I'd do my job. If need be I'd run new coax and mount the dish on a pole. I may not like it but while I was doing the work I'd remember all the jobs I got paid $15 to simply change one connector or had to reprogram a remote or reset a receiver. You have to take the good with the bad. Not every job is in a nice new pre-wired home within walking distance of your house nor is every job in some bug infested hell hole in the middle of Hillbillyville 50-60 miles away. In this business you either do what it takes to get the job done RIGHT or you find a new line of work. Doing the job half-a$$ed just because it is a few miles away and not the nicest of homes is what hacks do.
