They grow out, in girth, as well. You haven't seen strand going right through an oak tree before? Boutte, La. we played hell. The "Local Authorities" wanted to charge us for every ring in the branch that was severed to free up the run. 100 bucks per ring, cash of course. Didn't pay and got chased off until the system got involved. only in catv.
