Re: How does retainage work?

I worked for a company that held retainage, backcharged me without any reason, refused to give any proof. never got my final paycheck or retainage. none. I am looking into whether they claimed the paycheck on my 1099, if they did, I am going to turn them into the IRS. the reason I never got it, I was new to cable, and was ignorant of the way things went, but not anymore!!!
