Re: Feelings on Union

I used to be in the Carpenters Union Local 1644, and the union is pretty much useless in that field because of people that will work for peanuts.

Competition is healthy, but not to the levels it is at now.

Prevailing wage is pretty much destroyed by republican party ruling our land.
But the satellite field can be more attainable in localized regions.

After all the techs are sucked dry, and upper management declares the profits sucked clean and destroys the market
before going off to suck the life out of another trade, we could call out for a union in last desperate hope of saving the trade.

But simple heresy and anti union propaganda will convince people that there job is going to be outsourced by another country:D

It could still be piece work, so you make more if you work more.
I'd be game for something like that if I was planning on not being self employed.
