Re: How does retainage work?

I have to say that usually you will never see the retainage in the end. I always bid 10% or whatever the retainage is over in the bid price that way I never count on seeing it in the end. When you see retainage figure out what the actual price you will be getting paid is and see if it worth working for before you agree to the price because hopefully you wil get paid , but never count on seeing your retainage. Just my opinion.
