I was offered a job earlier this summer doing InR with them. Think it was for $25 an hour. Then I get to the project and they wanted me to do splicing. The phone company had no maintenance department so we had to fix any problems. They wanted all their techs to have a cable locater to dig up and repair any damaged cable. I don't mind digging or splicing. I just don't like doing it when I am told something else. I also can't justify splicing for only $25 an hour.
