Who Are You Working For?? Now Days A Cable Repair Tech Is Usually A Service Technician Who Can Repair Cable Or Telephone Drops. Some Service Technicians Can Repair (Splice, Activate) CATV Cable. A Telephone Company Repairman Usually Does Not Know Much About Coax Cable And Similarly A Cable TV Tech Doesn't Know Too Much About Twisted Pair (Copper) Telephone Cables Or How To Splice Them. It All Depends On How The Cable Company Wants Its Service And Or Repair Work Done. Most Cable Companys Have, Installers, Service Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Small Construction Depts, Who Splice And Repair & Replace Coax Cables, Fiber Splicers, Sweep Technicians And The Lists Go On & On.
