I consider myself a professional technician who likes to take my time to do the job right. I can do 4-6 4 bangers a day 5-6 days a week. But as a rule I won't ask for more than 4 per day. The reason being that if I am at my full load capacity doing 6, 4 bangers and some little snag happens as it goes, I am ****ed and the company is ****ed.
That's not to say that if the company gets swamped I can't go out and knockem out 6 per day. It is just a good practice as a lead/ manager to find out what your tech's capacity is and run him at 80% on average if you are able.
It is of utmost importanace to maintain a reasonable work load. Anything more and you and your company are looking for problems ahead.
