we still use 'em, its just a hole punch, use it to punch a hole in the sheath so you can ground the cable (telephone). Theres a metal sheath underneath, put the ground lug under the plastic sheath and the little threaded "tit" sticks up through the hole you just punched, attatch you ground strap to the stand from the "tit". It also works great for punching a hole in your leather belt for that "in between" size. Hope this helps, Later, Red
