As a contractor who has worked for Mastec and Comcast, I would agree with the other posts. Call your personal insurance company (it will probably drive up your rates, even if you are dropped from the case), or contact a lawyer. Either way, you are probably going to be out some money, but a LOT less than if Mastec and Comcast wiggle their way out of it and leave you hanging.
And Mastec's "Legal" dept should have already contacted you - the fact that they haven't should be a sign that you need to protect yourself (especially if you were the driver at fault in the accident).
