The Plaintiff had a choice to sue you, Comcast, or Mastec. The Plaintiff is throwing everything out to see what sticks.
If you were served personally, then you should contact your personal insurance company immediately and/or hire an attorney and answer (send a reply to) the suit. If you don't, you will get a default judgment against you and then you are screwed. Mastec or Comcast may have already taken care of this for you but I would not trust them. You need to protect yourself.
Comcast will probably get the case dismissed against them. Though Comcast in house lawyers are a bit slow, the outside defendant's attorneys they hire are rabid immoral beasts who will sleaze Comcast out of the situation. So it will be just you and Mastec left to face the music.
Mastec's insurance will probably settle and may or may not include you in the release of liability agreement.
YOur personal attorney and/or insurance company can most effectively work with Mastec to get the case settled.
Act now!
