Yes, was splicing in the 80's. A lot of the old NEAL cables (412, 500, 750) I had to have the release operations done on both hands. My strength has never been the same since that time, in both hands. Of course one is worse than the other.

I would have interest in any results or conclusions you reach from your inquiries.
