I got to see one and it is almost the size of an INT ODU but practically square. It pulls off of 5 SATs. The 2 newer SATs are at 99 and 103. Their frequency is in the lower KA band, between 200~800 MHz I think.
If you install a powered off-air with it, say "Bye-bye" to diplexers. The KA and the off-air use the same frequencies. So it's 2 lines to each HDTV. Same thing with CATV, no diplexers.
I don't know if any of this cane be stacked or not, but if anyone finds out one way or another, please let me know.
Has anyone seen the new A3 dish from DTV?
