It is like being on the phone with someone who has their tv tuned to the same channel. You can hear a delay due to the cable length difference (?)
The best way to stop this from annoying you is to (a) shot the door to the other room (b) turn off the other tv and watch with the other person in the house, or (c) put a jumper on the set with the shortest run to make them the same length.
