alot to weigh in those thoughts,sweep and cert. can be tricky.if you are well rounded rf tech. you could get by,but specs.can change and requirements can be hard to attain by the customer,if they are not well versed on their plant,so you really need to know the equipment and it's quirks,for the most part,if it looks like ****,smells like it,then it probably is,but there are some pieces of equipment out there that need to be understood properly,before they can be swept propoerly.Fiber is probably easier to figure out,than all the different types of amps. that are in cable systems.
