Chad is on the right track but without knowing all of the particular details of the "Systems" that you are working in you may want to consider the following couple of recommendations:

Do all of your sweep work between 1am - 4:45am depending on your customer's ADI or market area. Your CModem and high bandwidth data transfers happen between 7pm and 12pm. Yes, you may also have some commercial data traffic early in the morning too. Before you do you need to confirm that your customer's customers have been put on notice and re-route their network on a different circuit that isn't being swept that particular night.

Start at one of the end of lines and go backwards to the node. You may amaze even yourself that you'll be able to mitigate most of your first pass problems real fast.
