If your TV has built in PIP then there's a very high probability that it also has a second tuner. In this case, yes - you can install a two-way before the box and enjoy the basic analogue channels like a normal cable ready set. If your TV doesn't have a secondary tuner (Doubtful) then run the second line from the splitter into a VCR and use that tuner. I do believe though that your TV is OK without it so keep your VCR/DVD in line with your Dig/HD Box.
