that was last month. I rode with one of their subcontractors "lead" tech for two days and decided it was not an outfit I wanted to work for. That lead tech was the worst installer I have ever seen in action. Didnt ground, ran a phone line across a living room floor in a disabled persons house, could only get a signal in the 50's and 60's (and left the house like that)on the 72.5 and this was all in the first install. After he sat sat on a customers porch smoking a cigarette and talking on his cell phone while barking orders at me my mind was made up. I not only had more experience than that guy, I did better work and I was a better representative of direct tv and society in general. I was glad I saw how they operated and knew the track record of Mastec. I think it saved me money and trouble in the future.
