The Radio Crack answer is a good temp.
I am going on the assumption that you're trying to put an intercom in a lift that had none before. Have you checked the wiring harness to see if there are existing wires to accomodate? If there are wires available you can find a bucket truck in boneyards {I see them all over in MA, RI & even saw one in Franklin CT back in '03} where you may be able to scavenge parts. You may even find parts on Ebay. I am sure you can try the advertisers on this site
