It was a sea of bucket trucks the evening I arrived. Could not believe how many folks had taken up temporary residence there to help the people of the area as well as make a few bucks. From what I told by the linemen there, that was nothing and there were many others in other campgrounds around the area.
It was a "spartan" existence for some in tents and it ranged all the way up to some high dollar RV's for others. Regardless of how each was living, my hats off to all of those that were down there working in those conditions. Mosquitos, community facilities that were not meant to handle the sheer #'s of folks, etc.
To those that are making that sacrifice now and in the past, good on ya' and God Bless !!!
