The SX series trunks always have had a problem with introducing reverse. If fact I cannot even think of one person who has got it to work using the factory equipment. With that said there are some companies that make aftermarket diplexers and even newer updated XRM reverse amps capable of going to 40MHz and with using 40MHz diplexers.
