I once purchased (late 70's) the entire line running out of KC,Ka 80 mile south. Cost $1:00 mile at an auction...we had to remove all poles, steel wire, insulators, etc. We central warehoused and sold off the poles for fence post, scrap the wire, threw out most insulators. It wasn't worth the time and effort it took in labor and warehousing. *Insulators aren't worth much anymore, average $1-5 at flee mkt, a collector one- maybe $20.00
